MEET JENN

Jenn is an NSCA Certified Personal Trainer with a Master's Degree in Nutrition Education, Reiki Practitioner, Yoga Teacher, Corrective Exercise Specialist and the founder of Trainers in Transit LLC!

Based out of New York, Jenn has been professionally affecting positive change in people’s lives for nearly 20 years and continues to create new and innovative programs across the country. After several years spent managing corporate fitness programs for some Fortune 500 companies, Jenn started her own fitness consulting business that specializes in total health and wellness. With her recent expansion to LA as well as online and app-based programs, Jenn is now able to reach the masses!

Jenn has appeared on Live with Kelly & Ryan as well as The Rachael Ray Show and has been interviewed on several podcasts, expert panels and radio shows. She received press for her innovative programs such as "Fresh Start Fitness" (now available online) and "Breakup Bootcamp". These programs have helped countless clients heal and thrive after experiencing painful breakups and challenging life transitions.

Jenn is a huge believer in the mind/body/spirit connection and has seen it’s value in her own life in working towards her personal and professional goals. She recently became a Level II Reiki Practitioner, Corrective Exercise Specialist and (during the pandemic) a 200-hour RYT Yoga & Meditation Certifications.

Personally, Jenn has completed 7 marathons and now just runs around with her adorable pups, Milo and Murray!

Stella is a comprehensive Certified Pilates Instructor in Classical, Physical Mind and Core Dynamic methods. She is registered by the Internationally accredited Pilates Method Alliance, as well as a dancer for the Alvin Ailey Dance Company. Stella has a deep understanding of functional movement, and focuses on correct body alignment and precise execution of exercises. Stella can challenge any fitness level!

JONATHAN BALTUS: PERSONAL TRAINER/FITNESS COACH

Jonathan is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer with a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. With his personal experience in weight lifting, gymnastics and sports performance, Jonathan is able to design specialized programs for a variety of clients. Jonathan enjoys teaching functional training and corrective exercise which ahas allowed him to help clients recover from and prevent injuries.

SUZANNE LAPATIE: HEALTH COACH/GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Suzanne has spent her entire life as an entrepreneur. She moved from North Carolina to New York City in the 1980s to join a wonderful choreographer and dance in her company. During this time, she found herself teaching group exercise. It was the Jane Fonda era, and she became one of the first personal trainers in NYC. Then came marriage and babies, but she continued to teach. Eventually she joined her (now ex-husband) and French chef in opening three of NYC’s top bistros. It was great fun, but not a good lifestyle. Early mornings, late nights and tons of stress. The last restaurant closed after 12 years. But when one door closes another one opens….

During the slow-down of the pandemic, Suzanne got certified as a health coach and an Exhale Barre teacher — getting back to her roots in the fitness world. Since studios were closed, she focused on studying health and wellness and digging into new trends in the industry. After seeing her parents age way too fast, Suzanne was motivated to help people live better, longer and more fulfilled lives through mindful nutrition, exercise and healthy lifestyle choices.

CHRISTINA GACCIONE: CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER
Christina grew up as a competitive gymnast and a college athlete. She ran track for 4 years and after college, started running half marathons. She has always had a passion for fitness and decided to get certified during the pandemic to help people achieve their health goals! Christina also loves hiking, cooking, traveling and spending time with friends and family. We are thrilled to have her on the team!

FAUSTINE ROGASIK: PERSONAL TRAINER/HEALTH COACH

Faustine is a Certified Personal Trainer and Health Coach whose personal journey through reversing multiple autoimmune health conditions helped her gain a deep understanding of the human body and mind.

Relying on her extensive experience with weight training, Yoga, meditation, and nutrition, Faustine trains her clients in a holistic manner. She helps them improve their health from the outlook that every person is unique and always evolving.

To compliment Faustine’s skills and expertise, her professionalism, compassion and adaptability make her a very well rounded coach!

Darcey is a Certified Yoga Instructor, Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach. She is originally from Ireland and received her Master’s degree in Nutrition, Food & Health from University College in Dublin. Darcey loves working with clients of all ages and fitness levels and thrives on seeing her clients achieve their goals. She is currently teaching our classes in Riverside Park so go check her out!

Jena Kirmse is a personal trainer as well as a group fitness instructor. She teaches Jillian Michaels Bodyshred, HIIT, Abs, TRX and a Lower Body/Booty class! Her favorite muscle groups to focus on are glutes and core. She launched a series of body weight glute and core workout videos called Bootyful Body available on Action House. Great experience! Friendly trainers and challenging workouts. What I like most is all of the trainers have varied backgrounds of experience (yoga, pilates, dance, running), so the workouts incorporate different types of exercises for a full-body workout.
